![]() ![]() The wild whispers of heresy roused the rabble to violent action. In the face of my increasingly egregious flaunting of public taboos, awe turned to ire, and demonstrations were held in the town square. It was not long before rumors of my morbid genius and secretive excavations began to fill local legend. Simple folk are by their nature loquacious, and the denizens of the hamlet were no exception. This article is still under construction by the way, so please contribute.Ancestor's Memoirs: The Brigand Pounder “ I'm rambling here, and I'm probably being hypocritical with the "I think" sentence, but these are just my thoughts on this article. ![]() We can partially separate the Ancestor's memoirs into two groups one where he is beginning his pursuits, and where the townsfolk tolerate him and one where he is destroying lives and creating abominations that the player encounter as bosses. He begins being neutral and welcomed by other Hamlet dwellers, and his excavations beneath the manor begin the rumours and ire that the townsfolk feel. However, I think (based on narration, can be wrong and freely changed) that the Ancestor has a set timeline on his interactions with the Hamlet. As well, the Ancestor's actions are not easily ordered as there are no exact regard for when they happened. This is one of the things that are left to the player's interpretation of the story. Try to add as many details that pertain to the lore, rather than creating theories that have not been proven by the official developers. Lovecraftian and Grimdark media often leave out details for the reader, resulting in theories and headcanons. I have few thoughts on the way the Ancestor's biography is formatted. But it doesn't do anything! I thought it was a tactic against him, not confusing useless note. Yeah, with the right trinkets and skills, the first form of the ancestor can be blighted of bleeded. ![]()
